AND INSTALLATION OF NEW COMPUTER SERVER/RELATED
EQUIPMENT AT TOWN WATER DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 304,2016, the Queensbury Town Board authorized a five
(5) year extension of the Agreement between the Town of Queensbury and StoredTech Technology
Solutions, Inc., (StoredTech) for the continued provision of professional information technology
services, and
WHEREAS, StoredTech has submitted Quote No.: STSQ 14222 dated June 10, 2021 for
the Town's purchase of a new computer server/related equipment for the Town Water
Department for an amount of$9,735.98, (which is less than NYS Contract pricing, the second
quote obtained) and Quote No.: STSQ14269 for StoredTech's professional services related to
installation of this new computer server/equipment for an amount of$3,610, for a total project
cost of$13,345.98, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to engage StoredTech as such professional services
are consistent with StoredTech's existing provision of information technology services and
StoredTech has the skill, expertise and an established familiarity and comfort level with the
Town's building infrastructure,
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the
engagement of Stored Technology Solutions, Inc., (StoredTech) in accordance with Quote No.:
STSQ14222 dated June 10, 2021 for the Town's purchase of a new computer server/related
equipment for the Town Water Department for an amount of $9,735.98 and Quote No.:
STSQ 14269 for StoredTech's professional services related to installation of such new computer
server/equipment for an amount of$3,610, for a total project cost of$13,345.98, and authorizes
and directs the Town Supervisor to sign any needed documentation and/or agreements to effectuate
such purchase and professional services to be paid from Computer Hardware Account No.: 040-
1680-2031, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Budget
Officer to amend the 2021 Town Budget and transfer $10,000 from the Water Department's

Undesignated, Unassigned Fund Balance Account No.: 040-0000-0909 to Computer Hardware
Account No.: 040-1680-2031 and take any other actions needed necessary to effectuate payment,
and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Town Water Superintendent and/or Town Budget Officer to take such other and further actions as
may be necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.

Objective:
Replace current Vmware host at Water Department.
Decommission Server 2008 VM's and create 2 new Server 2019 VM's.
Tasks:
Pre-stage host, update drivers/bios.
Install Vmware 7.0.
Install 2 Server 2019 VM's.
Deliver server on site.
Join Server 2019 VM's to domain and make one of them a Domain controller.
Migrate Water-DC-2012 to new host.
Migrate Management Plus to Express Maintenance.
Migrate files,printers, and roles off 2008 servers onto 2019 servers.
Decommission all 2008 servers on Water Dept.host.
Decommission old Vmware 5.5 host.
Applications Included in Migration:(Any additional applications will require a change order)
Management Plus migration to Express Maintenance
Customer Responsibilities:
Client will be responsible for allowing StoredTech access to any onsite locations necessary.
Client will work with StoredTech to allow a window for down time to perform the upgrade(if
