Letters from S. Gannon 4/17/90 Town of Queensbury Planning Board Bay Road Queensbury , NY 12804 Re: Top of World Auto Body, Inc Building Permit Hardship case for septic permit Dear Sirs: We have had a ground water test performed by Morris Engineering . They have determined that ground water is found at 24" and that a surface system would be required to meet current building code specifications. The cost to install this has been estimated at between $10,000.00 and $13 , 000.00. We have currently received financing in the amount of $200,000.00 from Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. sponsored and guaranteed by SBA ( Small Business Administration ) . After paying off current debt, only $75 ,000.00 remains available for completion of the addition that has been determined necessary for successful operations of our business. Unfortunately at the time of approval , no plans were made for a surface system that would cost as much as estimates are currently forecasting. Extra funds were requested through Glens Falls National , however, this would jeopardize the original loan application. We are requesting that we be allowed to install holding tanks per town specifications as detailed in the Town Septic Ordinance Code Book. We further request that this be allowed as plans for future septic and waste systems include our part of Quaker Road and we can establish connections at that future date. • Sincerely yours, Stanley F. Quaker Road Queensbury, NY 12804 Dear Sirs, According to the instructions for obtaining a permit for my addition; this letter references storm water and permeability matters. It is important to realize that although we propose adding 7 , 971 sq ft of nonpermeable space to the building no changes are proposed in the contour or water drainage plans. All systems will remain as is. Total new green area which will be 7 , 971 sq. ft; this is an amount equal to the change in nonpermeable areas for a net zero change effect. All grounds around the building shall be maintained of present loam and sand composition. Sincerely, Stanley F. Gannon, Jr. President Top of the World Auto Body
