WHEREAS, Alpha Win, host and sponsor of the annual Lake George Triathlon Festival,
has requested authorization from the Queensbury Town Board to conduct the Lake George
Triathlon partially within the Town of Queensbury and on Town roads as follows:

Road, Round Pond Road, Blind Rock Road, Haviland Road,
Rockwell Road, Sunnyside Road, Jenkinsville Road and Ridge Road
(map delineating course attached);
and
WHEREAS, Alpha Win has provided the Town with proper proof of insurance in form
acceptable to the Town and the Town's insurance carrier,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves Alpha Win to conduct the
Lake George Triathlon partially within the Town of Queensbury and on Town roads on Saturday
and Sunday, September 4`h-5d', 2021, as described in the preambles of this Resolution, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves this event subject to approval by the
Town Highway Superintendent, which may be revoked due to concern for road conditions at any
time up to the date and time of the event.

I have reviewed the request from Alpha Win, which intends to hold the Lake George Triathlon
partially within the Town of Queensbury on Saturday and Sunday, September 4- 5, 2021.
Weather permitting, I hereby grant my approval for this event to be held on the following Town
roadways that are under my jurisdiction: Ash Drive, Birdsall Road, Glen Lake Road, Rockwell
Road, and Jenkinsville Road. The remaining roadways are not in my jurisdiction and may require
additional authorization.

Hello Supervisor Strough, Highway Superintendent Duell and Deputy Highway Superintendent Bemers,
I received your email addresses from the Supervisor's Executive Assistant. As required by NYS DOT, I am writing to
formally advise you of our plans to produce a triathlon event in Lake George on Saturday and Sunday, September 4-5,
2021. The event will be substantially the same as previous years with the exception that we will do the longer distance
70.3 race on Saturday instead of Sunday and we will add a Sprint`distance to the traditional Olympic distance on
Sunday.
I have attached the maps for the Bike Courses and the Run Courses. I have also attached a Race and Officer Post
Timetable that shows all intersections that will be controlled by Officers or Volunteer Race Marshals.
Cyclists will be on the roads from 7:30 AM until Noon on Saturday, September 4, 2021 and from 7:10 am to 11:30 am on
Sunday,September 5, 2021. All roads will be open to traffic. However,there might be some brief delays as law
enforcement officers hold vehicular traffic to permit racers to pass through intersections.
Runners will use the Warren County Bikeway on both days. The last runner should finish at 3:30 pm on Saturday and at
12:40 pm on Sunday.
