RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGAGEMENT OF
BEHAN COMMUNICATIONS TO CONTINUE PROVISION
OF PROFESSIONAL PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS AND
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SERVICES RELATED TO JENKINSVILLE
AREA ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT

WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 170,2021, the Queensbury Town Board authorized
engagement of Behan Communications for professional public communications and community
engagement services related to the Jenkinsville Area environmental assessment, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize the continuance of such services at the same
rate of $300 per hour, estimated to be approximately 14 hours per month for the next 12 months as
delineated in Behan Communications’ letter proposal dated July 2, 2021,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the engagement
of Behan Communications for continuance of its professional public communications and community
engagement services related to the Jenkinsville Area environmental assessment for the amount of $300
per hour, estimated to be approximately 14 hours per month for the next 12 months as delineated in
Behan Communications’ letter proposal dated July 2, 2021 presented at this meeting, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that such services shall be paid for from Engineering Account No.: 001-1440-
4720-009, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Budget Officer to
take all actions necessary to amend the Town Budget and effectuate the transfer of $50,400 from
Undesignated, Unassigned General Fund Balance Account No.: 001-0000-0909 to Engineering
Account No.: 001-1440-4720-009, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to
execute any needed agreement and/or any necessary documentation and the Town Supervisor and/or
Town Budget Officer to take all action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
