COLLEEN RATHBUN, DEPUTY TOWN CLERK I AND
ADJUSTING SALARY OF VERONICA STILLMAN, RECORDS CLERK

WHEREAS, Caroline H. Barber, RMC, the Town of Queensbury’s Town Clerk and Receiver

of Taxes and Assessments, has advised that the current 1 Deputy Receiver of Taxes and Assessments
has provided notice that she will soon leave Town employment and therefore, the Town Clerk and
Receiver of Taxes and Assessments wishes to make certain staffing changes and appointments within

her office, with such appointments and associated salaries to be effective as of September 1 for the
remainder of 2021 as follows:

Rose Mellon - 1 Deputy Receiver of Taxes and Assessments - $58,500;
(Overtime Eligible)
Colleen Rathbun - Deputy Town Clerk I - $55,700;
(Overtime Exempt)
Veronica Stillman - Records Clerk - $43,500;
(Overtime Eligible)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby acknowledges the Town Clerk and

Receiver of Taxes and Assessments’ appointments of Rose Mellon as 1 Deputy Receiver of Taxes and
Assessments and Colleen Rathbun as Deputy Town Clerk I and authorizes the establishment of their
associated annual salaries along with an adjustment in salary for Veronica Stillman, Records Clerk,

effective as of September 1 for the remainder of 2021 as follows:

BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Clerk and
Receiver of Taxes and Assessments, Town Supervisor and/or Town Budget Officer to complete any
documentation and take such other and further action necessary to effectuate the terms of this
Resolution.
