Deputy Supervisor Tim Brewer Opened the Meeting…announced that Supervisor Daniel
Stec will be arriving late, he is in attendance at another meeting.
1.0 Rush Pond Area Trails and Bridges
Director Hansen-Spoke to the Town Board regarding a five year Rush Pond Area project
to be started this year. The plans will be for hiking trials, nature trails and cross country
running and skiing trails. The Town has received the needed permits from the State
Department of Environmental Conservation and the Army Corps of Engineers for the
proposed project.
2.0 Potential Town Code Revisions and Discussions

A presentation was made by the Community Development Department recommending
changes to various Town Codes to make the codes more understandable and enforceable.
The following are suggested changes: 1-creating authority to revoke CO’s to owners of
multi family dwelling who do not allow inspections within a reasonable amount of time.
2-Changes to the Transient Merchant Law 3-Business Registration 4-Junkyard
Ordinance changes regarding unregistered cars 5-Setting Scheduled Inspections by the
Fire Marshal All Changes will have to be reviewed by the Town Board and a public
hearing will to be held to initiate any change to the codes.
3.0 Glens Falls/Queensbury Animal Control Consolidation Discussions

A presentation was given to the Town Board regarding a proposal to share the Animal
Control Services with the City of Glens Falls. Further discussions with the City will be
held regarding this proposal.
