RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR
TAMMIE LANDERS, ASSISTANT TO THE ASSESSOR

WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 160,2019, the Queensbury Town Board authorized the

provisional transfer of Tammie Landers from 2 Deputy Receiver of Taxes and Assessments position
to the Assistant to the Assessor position in the Town Assessor’s Office (Position) subject to applicable
Civil Service requirements, and
WHEREAS, the Town Assessor has advised that at the time of Ms. Lander’s transfer, the
increase in pay for Ms. Landers in the Position was tied to Ms. Lander’s successful passing of the Civil
Service exam for the Position but as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Civil Service exam for
the Position has still not been scheduled and therefore, Ms. Landers has been working in the Position
for two (2) years without the Position’s stated compensation, and
WHEREAS, the Town Assessor has requested Town Board authorization to institute Ms.
Landers’ increase in pay to the stated salary for the Position,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs a salary
adjustment for Tammie Landers in her Assistant to the Assessor position from her current salary

of $52,788 to $58,802 annually effective Tuesday, September 28, 2021, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Town
Assessor and/or Town Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action necessary to
effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
