Application 64-88
Dear Lee:
I have made a field inspection of the above site in regard to water mains and
appurtenances.
As a result of this inspection T make the following car tints:
I. The plans as submitted indicate that the existing hydrant located on site
is to be relocated approximately 260+ feet to the east at the end of the
proposed extention.
Our field inspection indicates the existing hydrant as it is now located is
650+ feet from the nearest hydrant on Corinth Road. The relocation of this
hydrant 250+ feet to the east will exceed our standard hydrant spacing of
800 feet.
2. It is the recommendation of this Department that the proposed water main
be installed the full length of the proposed road extention and that a second
hydrant be placed at the end of the main.
3. The developer or his engineer will have to advise this Department of his
proposed method of installation relating to connection to the existing main
and minimizing interruption of service to existing customers.
Very truly yours,
