Resolution Acknowledging Lead Agency Status for purposes of SEQR Review
Use Variance 4-2012 & Site Plan 7-2012
Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless (1127 West Mountain Road)

Site Plan: Applicant proposes a new 120’ monopole Telecommunications Tower. Telecommunication Towers in a RR zone
requires Planning Board review and approval. Use Variance: Relief from use requirements of the RR-5A zone. Planning Board
shall acknowledge lead agency status, may conduct SEQR review, and provide a written recommendation to the Zoning Board of
Appeals.
WHEREAS, in connection with the Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless (1127 West Mountain Road) project, the Town of
Queensbury Planning Board, by resolution, previously authorized the Community Development office to notify other involved
agencies of the desire of the Planning Board to conduct a coordinated SEQRA review, and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Administrator has advised that other involved agencies have been notified and have consented to the Town
of Queensbury Planning Board being lead agent, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
MOTION THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY PLANNING BOARD HEREBY RECOGNIZES ITSELF AS LEAD AGENT FOR
PURPOSES OF SEQRA REVIEW IN CONNECTION WITH USE VARIANCE 4-2012 & SITE PLAN 7-2012 CELLCO
PARTNERSHIP D/B/A VERIZON WIRELESS (1127 West Mountain Road), Introduced by __________who moved for its
