Telecommunication Towers in a RR zone requires Planning Board review and approval. Use Variance: Relief from use requirements of the RR-5A zone. Planning Board shall provide a written recommendation to the Zoning Board of Appeals. WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury has determined to begin an environmental review process under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), and WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury has identified the project to be an Unlisted action for the purposes of SEQRA review pursuant to 6 NYCRR 617, and WHEREAS, the Planning Board is the agency most directly responsible for approving the actions because of its responsibility for approving the land uses for the property, and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, The Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby indicates its desire to be Lead Agency for SEQRA review of this action and authorizes and directs the Zoning Administrator to notify any other potentially involved agencies of such intent. Telecommunication Towers in a RR zone requires Planning Board review and approval. Use Variance: Relief from use requirements of the RR-5A zone. Planning Board shall provide a written recommendation to the Zoning Board of Appeals. The project is an Unlisted action. The application requires a site plan and variance approval by both the Town of Queensbury Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board. Thus, the Town Planning Board, as the official agency, in this instance, to review environmental assessment concerns within the Town of Queensbury has concluded that it is the most involved agency and should be lead agency for the purposes of the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) review. Accordingly, this memorandum constitutes notice that the Town of Queensbury Planning Board is seeking lead agency status pursuant to SEQRA.
