Memo Memorandum To: Town of Queensbury Planning Board From: Keith Oborne, Land Use Planner Date: 3/27/2012 Re: Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless Planning Board Members, On March 19, 2012 the applicant’s engineers, Town of Queensbury Water Department staff and Town Planning staff visited the site in order to gather information concerning the potential citing of an additional water storage structure on the site. Concerns were raised relative to the proposed location of the cell tower and as such the Water Department is now in the process of obtaining an engineering opinion on the subject. It is Planning Staff’s position that this application be tabled pending resolution of any and all outstanding issues that concern the Queensbury Water Department and Planning Staff. SUBDIVISION 1-2011 & FWW 1-2011 FOR VMJR COMPANIES MOTION TO TABLE SUBDIVISION 1-2011 PRELIMINARY STAGE & FRESHWATER WETLANDS PERMIT 1-2011 FOR VMJR COMPANIES: Introduced by Gretchen Steffan who moved its adoption, seconded by Stephen Traver: thth Tabled to November 15 with an application deadline of October 17. With the following conditions: 1.Obtain FAA approval and submit evidence to Staff of that approval. Please see attached E-MAIL correspondence. 2.Applicant needs to discuss road design with Highway Superintendent, specifically why the current design is not acceptable. Please see attached E-MAIL correspondence. The applicant, staff and Town Engineer met with the Highway Superintendant on October 5, 2011. The attached E-MAIL correspondence was generated and disseminated that day. 3.The Planning Board will need to receive feedback from the Highway Superintendent on the acceptability of the current or amended road design. Please see attached E-MAIL correspondence. Further, Highway Superintendent comments attached. 4.The applicant will provide clarification on feasibility of existing right of way to Queensbury Avenue for emergency use. No response to date. 5.The applicant will address all 50 engineering comments. Addressed with October 23, 2011 submittal of revised documents. Engineering comments attached.
