PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Applicant proposes the addition of a boat lift with canopy to existing
boathouse structure. Boathouse in a WR zone requires Planning Board review and approval
Additional comments:
1.The top of the canopy associated with the lift to be 16’-0” above the mean high water mark and as
such does not exceed the maximum 16 foot height requirement per §179-5-060(11).
2.The boathouse, as designed, appears to show no facilities for sleeping, cooking or sanitary facilities
as per §179-5-060(12).
3.The Planning Board may wish to direct the applicant to enhance shoreline plantings as per §179-8-
040, Landscaping and Buffering standards.
