Queensbury Planning.Staff Notes.12.19.2006 Planning Staff Notes 12/19/06 Baba-Joani & Mama, Inc. Site Plan 4-2005 Modification • Department of Community Development Queensbury Planning Board Staff Notes December 19, 2006 APPLICATION: SP 4-2005 APPLICANT: Baba-Joani & Mama, LLC REQUESTED ACTION: Applicant requests site plan modification. LOCATION: The subject property is located at 931 State Route 9. EXISTING ZONING: This property is zoned HC-I. SEQRA STATUS: This project is a SEQR Unlisted Action. PARCEL HISTORY: SP 4-05: Approved 4/26/05, construction of a 6,700 sq. ft. restaurant and an addition to an existing hotel. AV 6-05: Approved 1/19/05, additional parking for the restaurant and hotel. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Applicant proposes a modification to a previously approved plan, specifically, to change the exterior color of the Red Roof Inn. STAFF COMMENTS: The proposed is to maintain the existing color of the siding. The previously approved color scheme that was selected by the Board was a forest green, while the existing shade is a gray- green tone. The trim paint was to be "brushed aluminum" as identified in the resolution and on sheet DR-1. Is this what was used on the existing building? It appears that from the proposed color renderings that the pillars were to be the same shade as the exterior, however they appear to be a shade similar to the trim.
