Sign Variance Application Town of Queensbury, Warren County, New York Queensbury Ref #SP71-2021 Chazen Project #92100.50 CT Male Project: #21.1302 Dear Ms. Moore: Please find the below information attached for your review:  Check in the amount of $100 for the variance application fee.  Fifteen (15) copies of the Sign Variance Application including the Pre application form from 1/21/2022.  Fifteen (15) copies of the Deed for the property in question.  Fifteen (15) copies of the Short Environmental Assessment Form.  Fifteen (15) copies of the Building Elevations.  Two full size and Thirteen (13) reduced (11x17) copies of the Sign Plan.  Two full size and Thirteen (13) reduced (11x17) copies of the Survey. The plans and applications have been revised to address your review comments from your Pre- submission Conference Form dated January 21, 2022. The wall sign area has been corrected on the applications and the plan and is 23.67 SF. The freestanding sign has been revised and no longer will include a digital display board. The directional signs will now be limited to a maximum of 4 SF in area and will not require variances. Additionally the sanitary sewer easement has been added to the plan and survey. Please find the below numbered comments from your Pre-submission Conference Form dated January 21, 2022, and the responses and/or revisions noted in italics for your review: 1. Deed needs to be provided. Response: The deed is included with this submission. 2. Project submission should include the sign project with the building information. Response: The project description has been revised to include the sign information as requested. See page 1 of the Sign Variance Application. C.T. Response: Parking information has been added to the Setback Requirements Table as requested. See page 2 of the Sign Variance Application. 4. Additional Project Information should include current site plan, need estimated cost. Response: The information has been added to the applications as requested. See page 4 of the Sign Variance Application. 5. Sign Information Sheet – Missing information about sign setback for the freestanding sign, directional signage – review chapter 140. Response: The information has been added to the applications as requested. See page 3 of the Sign Variance Application and the attached Sign Table. 6. Compliance – note each relief being requested. Response: The relief requested information has been add to the applications. The directional signs are now proposed to comply with the Town Code. The only relief requested is for the area of the freestanding sign. See page 3 of the Sign Variance Application. 7. Checklist – building elevations needed for wall signs, survey needed for location of signage and setbacks. Response: The building elevations are included in this submission along with the Survey. 8. Short Environmental form required. Response: The short environmental form is included with this submission. 9. Signature Page. Response: The completed signature page is included in the application.
