WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board believes it is appropriate and beneficial to provide
social and recreational activities and programs to Town of Queensbury senior citizens and therefore
wishes to contract with the Greater Glens Falls Senior Citizens for senior citizen recreational and social
activities and programs as permitted and authorized by New York State General Municipal Law §95A,
and
WHEREAS, a proposed Agreement between the Town and the Greater Glens Falls Senior
Citizens has been presented at this meeting, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the Agreement between the
Town and the Greater Glens Falls Senior Citizens for the year 2022 with funding for the Agreement
not exceeding the sum of $4,000 and authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to execute the
Agreement in substantially the form presented at this meeting, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that funding for such Agreement shall be paid for from Community Services
Account No.: 001-8989-4414.
