WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 124,2022, the Queensbury Town Board authorized
expenditures for specific Town Parks and Recreation Department capital improvements and certain
maintenance projects including a Capital Project at the Gurney Lane Pool(Project), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation (Director) requested and received quotes
for the replacement of three water valves related to this Project and the lowest received quote is
from Services Unlimited dated 5-5 in the amount of$24,000, and
WHEREAS, the Director has accordingly requested Town Board approval to accept the quote
and engage Services Unlimited to complete such valve replacement work,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the Director of Parks and
Recreation's to accept the quote and engage the services of Services Unlimited to replace three water
valves relating to the Gurney Lane Pool Capital Project for the amount of$24,000 in accordance with
Services Unlimited's quote dated 5-5 substantially in the form presented at this meeting, to be paid for
from Account No.: 157-7110-2899, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Parks
and Recreation Director and/or Budget Officer to take all such other and further actions as may be
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
