WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury submitted a Letter of Interest to the Northern
Border Regional Commission (NBRC) State Economic & Infrastructure Development (SEID)
Investment Program on April 22, 2022 for One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) to support
expansion of municipal sewer service to serve the Montcalm Apartments, and
WHEREAS, on May 4 h, 2022 the Town received an invitation from NBRC to submit a
full SEID grant application through the NBRC's application portal by June 3, 2022, and
WHEREAS, the grant application requires that the Town Board provide authorization for
the Supervisor to sign and submit the application and to sign all NBRC's investment documents,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town
Supervisor to sign and submit the NBRC grant application and sign all NBRC investment
documents that bind the Town as the applicant, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorized the Town Supervisor, Senior
Planner and/or Town Budget Officer to take such other actions as may be necessary for submittal
of the NBRC SEID application.
