Dear Mr. Round:
I have received a copy of the revised Site Plan and Grading Plan for the referent project. I have
reviewed the changes in these plans to determine their impact on the previously prepared
Stormwater Management Report.
The two changes are the elimination of the Quaker Road driveway and parking area and the
lengthening of the culvert adjacent to the existing Garden Time parking lot. The size of this
culvert has also been increased from 30 inch diameter to 36 inch_
The elimination of the Quaker Road driveway and parking lot decreases the amount of
impervious surface and reducees the runoff into the proposed detention areas.
I have checked the proposed 36-inch, 91-foot long culvert and find that it has much more than
the needed capacity.
In conclusion the proposed changes have only a positive impact on the drainage design for this
site.
