I have enclosed a field sketch of the modification which was prepared by my staff for your reference. I also have photographs of this modification on file in my office. Please be aware that I performed the necessary calculations on the modified floor trusses and find them to be acceptable for the design loadings. I have also contacted the truss manufacturer/supplier Bellview Builders Supply and shared this information with them. They also evaluated the situation and found the modification to be acceptable. I have also forwarded the Stage Framing Plan and Section B-B for your records and your review. Section B-B is a cross section taken through the stage framing and stairs which are located along the rear wall of the church.
