Dear Mr. Brown:
The Chazen Companies (Chazen) has received the latest submission package from your office regarding a
site plan application for the above referenced project. A previous review of this project was completed on
April 4, 2012. However, the proposed design has changed significantly. As such, the Applicant has not
provided a response letter to previous comments. Any comments that still apply to the current design have
been repeated herein. Submitted information includes the following:
Site plan entitled, Site Plan Documents for Enterprise Rent-A-Car prepared by Bohler Engineering,
LLC;
A drainage report prepared by Bohler Engineering, LLC;
Building plan entitled, Covered Wash Area - Enterprise Rental prepared by Hoffman and Riley
Architects
Your office has requested that we limit our review to the design
and sediment control items as it relates to compliance to local, state or relevant codes
Based on our review of the information provided, Chazen offers t
consideration:
Stormwater Management & Erosion and Sediment Control:
1.The proposed site improvements disturb less than 1-acre of land and will not be subject to NYSDEC
Phase II Stormwater Regulations. However, Section 179-6-080 of the Town Code states that
stormwater drainage plans shall analyze the impacts of a project using at least a 50-year return interval
storm for commercial projects. The applicant has provided a drainage report with stormwater analysis.

However, the Applicant has not analyzed the required 50-year return interval storm. The Applicant
shall provide appropriate calculations for conformance with this requirement.
2.The proposed improvements involve trenching of sewer within an e
of grass block pavers, and the construction of a stormwater infiltration basin. It can be assumed that
these operations may produce sediment, which has the potential t
runoff. As such, the Applicant shall provide an erosion & sediment control plan for construction. At a
minimum, the Applicant shall implement the use of silt fence downgradient of the proposed
disturbances. The Applicant shall revise the plan to include a construction de
material specifications and maintenance requirements, in accorda

3.The Applicant has included an exfiltration rate of 5 in/hr within the proposed bas
