We discussed the scope of work and what we will need for drawings as far as the Commercial Interior Alteration Building Permit Application. 1) Complete a Additions and Alterations building permit application and fee. 2) Provide 3 detailed floor plans of areas of building to be occupied within the scope of this permit. 3) Provide 3 copies of a detailed blow up floor plan of the unisex handicapped bathroom to be constructed. 4) Worker's compensation insurance certificates for contractors who will be working on alterations. 5) Show on floor plan location of all emergency lights and exit lights. 6) Show location of carbon monoxide detection. 7) show on floor plan location of service counter and handicapped counter section which will be 34" max height. 8) Add the following notes on the floor plan under scope of work. - Clean HVAC System in offices, training and showroom areas. - HVAC Air Balancing Test will be performed by a certified mechanical air balancer. Please provide name of certified company. - All existing and new electrical work will be inspected by a certified electrical inspector approved by the Town of Queensbury. - Overhead garage fire doors at firewalls will be inspected and a new fusible link installed. Provide inspection from certified inspector. - All required exit doors to pavement need to be asphalt paved to existing pavement due to tripping hazard. - All existing and new doors will have lever handle hardware installed. - Handicapped parking space and access aisle in front of main door will be striped in blue. The parking space will have the wheel chair emblem and the access aisle will have blue stripes. Each space must be 8' wide. - Install a handicapped parking sign on wall in front of parking space. 60" high from pavement to bottom of sign - Install a no parking sign on wall of building in front of access aisle in front of main door. 60" high from pavement to bottom of sign. - Install handicapped unisex bathroom sign on wall lever handle side of bathroom door.
