The documents were prepared by the Environmental Design Partnership, LLP. Based on our review of these documents, the revisions substantially address our previous comments. We offer the following comments: Stormwater - General 1. The project results in the disturbance of more than 1.0 acre and therefore a NOI and SWPPP must be prepared. A NOI has been prepared and a copy must be submitted to DEC at least 5 days in advance of starting construction. A copy of the SWPPP should be on the construction site during construction. Review Comments 2. There are some discrepancies between the pipe information shown on the plans (Grading & Utility Plan and the Post Developed Drainage Divide Map), of particular mention are reaches 5, 7 and 8. 3. The pipe leaving catch basin #12 (between the pool area and Route 9) should be. extended past the lower 98.0' contour or a swale graded up to the end section. 4- On the Grading & Utility Plan (Sheet 2) Section "B-B" traverses the hill to the south of the hotel but this is not reflected on the cross section. The downhill grade from the northernmost section of parking is very steep (approximately 1:1). This also does not appear to be accurately depicted in the cross sectior-L This slope (from elevation 118.0' down to elevation 104.0') should be graded less steep. Consideration should be given to the use of erosion control blankets on this hillside, 5. The ground surface elevations at the entrance/exit onto Round Pond Road are inconsistent between the Grading & Utility Plan and the Post Developed Drainage Divide Map. Consideration should be given to eliminating the open end section on Architecture & Building Systems Engineering • Civil Engineering • Environmental Services • Survey & Land Information Services E bl'2112UU4 UJ:34 b18(bb/':2 C.I MALE ASSUCIAILS YAUE UJ/EJ • C.T. This modification would necessitate the installation of a curb or paved wing along the east side of the entrance drive. 6. The western boundary of Subcatchment #42, shown on the Post Developed Drainage Divide Map, does not correlate with the proposed contours on this plan or on the Grading & Utility Plan. 7. We concur with the proposed access, both onto Route 9 and onto Round Pond Road. If you have any questions related to our comments, feel free to call our office Sincerely, C.T. MALE ASSOCIATES, P.C.
