Dear Mr. Brown:
In response to our March 19, 2004 comment letter we received and reviewed a resubmission of
information consisting (k a cover letter dated March 23, 2004, a revised set of plans (latest
revision date of March A 2004) and revised stormwater calculations. The documents were
prepared by the Environmental Design Partnership, LLP. Based on our review of these
documents, we offer thEl following comments which correspond to comment numbers in our
March 19, 2004 letter:
1. Some form of pretreatment should be provided for the northeast detention basin (for
example a deep sumo catch basin with an outlet tee).
2. The invert elevation] for the flared end section near Round Pond Road is missing. No
additional informaticln was provided on the existing culvert in this area.
3. Addressed.
4. Addressed.
5. The calculations sho>Irld include pre and post drainage maps and a subcatchment for each
pipe segment.
6. There were several discrepancies noted between the pipe and basin parameters shown in
the calculations ver what was shown in the plans.
7. An alternative detai has been added to the plan but the detail showing the hay bales
installed across a channel remains on the plans.
8. Refer to comment 1.

12. The revised calculaltions address the comment concerning runoff coefficients. The
resubmittal discusser a summary table noting the pre/post comparison but the table was
not included in the information that I reviewed.

14. Access onto Route 9 Sho d limited to a right turn in and a right turn out. Consideration
should be given to installing a curbed/raised median to provide more assurance that a left
turn out is not allor#ed. Signage should be added noting no left turn when exiting onto
