AT NO ADDITIONAL COST.
B. REPLACEMENTS MADE WITHIN SIX MONTHS AFTER
BEGINNING OF THE "GUARANTEE PERIOD" SHALL

EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL AND STABILIZATION MEASURES, MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION PRACTICES:
1. THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROLS TO BE USED ON THIS SITE DURING CONSTRUCTION:
A) STABILIZATION PRACTICES FOR THIS SITE INCLUDE:
- LAND CLEARING ACTIVITIES SHALL BE DONE ONLY IN AREAS WHERE EARTHWORK WILL BE PERFORMED AND SHALL PROGRESS AS EARTHWORK IS DEEDED
- FREQUENT WATERING OF EXCAVATION AND FILL AREAS TO MINIMIZE WIND EROSION DURING CONSTRUCTION.
- USE OF STABILIZATION FABRIC FOR ALL SLOPES HAVING A SLOPE OF 1V:2H OR GREATER AND FILL SLOPES 1V:3H OR GREATER.
- PERMANENT SEEDING AND PLANTING OF ALL UNPAVED AREAS USING THE HYDROMULCHING GRASS SEEDING TECHNIQUE.
B) STRUCTURAL PRACTICES FOR THIS SITE INCLUDE:
- PERIMETER PROTECTION USING SILT FENCES
- INLET PROTECTION AND OUTLET PROTECTION USING SILT FENCES
- STORM SEWER, CURBS AND GUTTERS
- STABILIZED CONSTRUCTION EXIT POINTS
- STORMWATER DETENTION PONDS (WHICH MAY ALSO SERVE AS A TEMPORARY SEDIMENT BASIN)
2. THE FOLLOWING INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE PRACTICES WILL BE USED TO MAINTAIN EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROLS AND STABILIZATION MEASUR-S:
A) ALL CONTROL MEASURES WILL BE INSPECTED AT LEAST WEEKLY AND WITHIN 24 HOURS FOLLOWING A RAINFALL EVENT OF 0.5 INCHES OR GREATER
ARY THEY WILL B) ALL MEASURES WILL BE MAINTAINED IN GOOD WORKING ORDER; IF REPAIRS ARE FOUND TO BE NECESSARY, EY BE INITIATED WITHIN 24 HOIRS OF REPORT.
C) BUILT UP SEDIMENT WILL BE REMOVED FROM SILT FENCES / STRAW BARRIERS WHEN IT HAS REACHED ONE-THIRD THE HEIGHT OF THE FENCE.
D) SILT FENCES / STRAW BARRIERS WILL BE INSPECTED FOR DEPTH OF SEDIMENT, TEARS, ETC., TO SEE IF THE FABRIC IS SECURELY ATTACHED TO NE FENCE POSTS,
AND TO SEE THAT THE FENCE POSTS ARE SECURELY IN THE GROUND.
E) THE SEDIMENT BASIN, IF PRESENT, WILL BE INSPECTED FOR DEPTH OF SEDIMENT, AND BUILT UP SEDIMENT WILL BE REMOVED WHEN IT REACHES 10 PERCENT OF THE
DESIGN CAPACITY.
F) TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT SEEDING AND ALL OTHER STABILIZATION MEASURES WILL BE INSPECTED FOR BARE SPOTS, WASHOUTS, AND HEALTHY (ROWTH.
BY THE INSP C' R ARE INCLUDED
G) A MAINTENANCE INSPECTION REPORT WILL BE MADE AFTER EACH INSPECTION. COPIES OF THE REPORT FORMS TO BE COMPLETED E E 0 E
IN THIS SWPPP.
H) THE JOB SITE SUPERINTENDENT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELECTING AND TRAINING THE INDIVIDUALS WHO WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE INS'ECTIONS,
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR ACTIVITIES, AND FILLING OUT INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE REPORTS.
1) PERSONNEL SELECTED FOR THE INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL RECEIVE APPROPRIATE INSTRUCTION FROM THE JOB SITE SUF_RINTENDENT. THEY
WILL BE TRAINED IN ALL THE INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE PRACTICES NECESSARY FOR KEEPING THE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROLS THAT ARE USID ONSITE IN GOOD
WORKING ORDER. THEY WILL ALSO BE TRAINED IN THE COMPLETION OF, INITIATION OF ACTIONS REQUIRED BY, AND THE FILING OF THE INSPECTION FORMS. DOCUMENTATION
OF THIS PERSONNEL TRAINING WILL BE KEPT ON SITE WITH THE SWPPP.
J) DISTURBED AREAS AND MATERIALS STORAGE AREAS WILL BE INSPECTED FOR EVIDENCE OF OR POTENTIAL FOR POLLUTANTS ENTERING STORMWATER SYSTEMS.
K) REPORT TO THE NYS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION WITHIN 24 HOURS ANY NONCOMPLIANCE WITH THE SWPPP THAT WILL ENDANtER PUBLIC HEALTH
OR THE ENVIRONMENT. FOLLOW UP WITH A WRITTEN REPORT WITHIN 5 DAYS OF THE NONCOMPLIANCE EVENT.
SEQUENCE OF CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:
A) CONSTRUCT TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EXITS AT LOCATIONS SHOWN.
B) INSTALL PERIMETER SILT FENCES AND TEMPORARY SEDIMENT BASIN IN THE LOCATIONS SHOWN.
C) BEGIN CLEARING AND GRUBBING OPERATIONS. CLEARING AND GRUBBING SHALL BE DONE ONLY IN AREAS WHERE EARTHWORK WILL BE PERFORMED AID ONLY IN AREAS WHERE BUILDING
IS PLANNED TO COMMENCE WITHIN 14 DAYS AFTER CLEARING AND GRUBBING.

SPECIFICATIONS
HOUSING The HC Series housing is fabricated of .125" extruded aluminum.
This design is ideal for site, auto dealerships, tennis and other sports court
lighting. The bottom access door provides ease of installation and servicing
LENS AND FRAME Lenses are available in contoured and flat impact
resistant tempered glass, sealed with a poron gasket to a one-piece lens
frame made of heavy gauge extruded aluminum. The lens door frame is
attached with 2 stainless steel hinges, is equipped with a spring -loaded
fastener for easy access, and closes securely on a poron gasket preventing
entry of moisture and insects
FINISHES Fixtures are finished with a thermoset baked -on polyester powder
finishing process to give the fixture an exceptionally attractive appearance.
The polyester finish withstands extreme weather change without cracking
or peeling. Standard and custom colors available.
REFLECTORS/DISTRIBUTION PATTERNS Fixtures are equipped with a
state of the art polished aluminum segmented reflector available in five
distribution patterns. Vertical or Horizontal burn lamps: Type 11 (2), Type
I11 (3), Type V (5), Perimeter Forward Throw (FP) and Automotive
Forward Throw (AF).
LIGHT SOURCES Designed to operate up to 1500 Watt High Pressure Sodium
and Metal Halide lamps. (HC 2-Double, HC 3-Triple)
SOCKETS Glazed porcelain mogul -base sockets feature spring -reinforced
contacts. Rated to 60OV.
BALLAST CWA or HPF regulating auto transformers. Available in
Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium. Starting temperature is -20 F for
Metal Halide and -40 F for High Pressure Sodium. Maximum wattage is
1500W.
BRACKETS Quick Fit Arm: are fabricated to fit any size tenon or pcle top.
Fixtures are manufactured with a fixed -arm which easily slips into the
quick fit adapter making field installation SIMPLE. Bolt On Arm: 6" x 2"
x 10" extruded steel arms are optional.
