Laura,
Per the Planning Board's request, I called Bill Remington at Warren County I-(ighway Dept. to
verify acceptability of Bay Road intersections for the Baybrook Professional Park. I am
attaching a memo of that conversation for your file. Bill told me that he would be happy to
talk to you if you have any questions regarding the County's review of this matter.
Additionally, I have reviewed the warrants for a signal at the southern intersection (the one
serving the proposed North Country Day Care facility) based upon Bay Road traffic counts
taken in March 1998 at the Walker Lane intersection and ITF trip generation rates for the
anticipated build -out of the office park. Based upon my review, it does not appear that any of
the seven traffic signal warrants are met for this proposed intersection.
Sincerely,
Thomas W. Nace, F.E.

MEMO OF TELEPHONE CONVERSATION
,DATE: 5/25/01
PERSON CALLED: Bill Remington PROJECT. • Baybrook Professiional Park
REPRESENTING: Warren County JOB NUMBER: 46148
SUMMARY OF CONVERSATION.
1 told Bill that the Town of Queensbury Planning Board asked us to reconfirm Warren County's
review and acceptance of the proposed subdivision road intersections with Bay Road and to get
any County input on the necessity for signalization of either intersection.
Bill told me that subsequent to the issuance of George Van Dusen's March 27"' memo stating that
the proposed plans were acceptable, he has had his engineering staff review the proposed road
intersections. He said that, based on that review, he still fords the proposal acceptable.
Bill also stated that he does not believe that the intersection would possibly warrant a traffic
signal
