Authorizing Engagement of Van Dusen and Steves Land Surveyors 823 Corinth Road RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGAGEMENT OF VAN DUSEN & STEVES LAND SURVEYORS TO PROVIDE SURVEYING SERVICES IN VICINITY OF WATER TREATMENT PLANT -823 CORINTH ROAD RESOLUTION NO.: 305,2022 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Harrison Freer WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Timothy McNulty WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury's Water Superintendent has advised the Town Board that it is necessary to obtain a current survey of the Town's Water Treatment Plant property at 823 Corinth Road, and WHEREAS, VanDusen & Steves, Land Surveyors has offered to provide these professional services for a total not to exceed$16,000, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes engagement of VanDusen & Steves Land Surveyors to survey the Town's Water Treatment Plant property at 823 Corinth Road for an amount not to exceed $16,000 in accordance with VanDusen & Steve's Land Surveyors' August 11, 2022 proposal substantially in the form presented at this meeting to be paid from Account No.: 040-8310-4720, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes the Town Budget Officer to take all actions necessary to amend the Town Budget and effectuate the transfer of$8,000 from the Water Department's Undesignated, Unassigned Fund Balance Account No.: 040-0000-0909 to Account No.: 040-8310-4720, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to sign the proposal in substantially the form presented at this meeting and any other needed documentation, and the Town Supervisor, Town Water Superintendent and/or Budget Officer to take such other and further action as may be necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
