Site Location: East side of NYS Route 9, bounded by Sweet Road and Montray Road Tax MaD Number: 71.-2-2 Staff Notes: A copy of the applicant's site drawing is included with the summaries. The applicant proposes the facility between the Ponderosa and Gambles with access onto Route 9. Staff has concern about the location of the primary ingress/egress point as it relates to curb cuts on the opposite side of the road and traffic patterns. The applicant is also showing that there is an existing traffic light at Sweet Road which does not exist. A copy of the applicant's Storm Water Management Plan is being forwarded to the County Highway Engineer and to Board member, John McGilvray for review and comment at the meeting. Additional materials included in the file include a grading and drainage plan, a planting plan and a utility plan along with details for the utilities. These additional materials are too large and cumbersome to be replicated for each Board member and are maintained in the applicant's file. Staff is recommending discussion due to the potential impacts on traffic patterns on Route 9.
