Proposed planting will not be impacted. • A rear access connecting the back parking lot of the hotel to back lot of the ponderosa was installed to facilitate better vehicular circulation and snow plowing. • In order to accommodate an expanded pool courtyard, 7 parking spaces were eliminated along the eastern perimeter of the building. Also, at the southern end of the building, 3 parking spaces were eliminated in order to accommodate the building transformer. A total of 79 spaces are provided including 4 handicapped. The allowable number of parking spaces is 78 2.0 Lighting • Ten freestanding parking lights were installed to provide ample parking lot lighting. Light poles are 25 feet high with a 400 amp, metal halide lamp as per building plans. See CLA-2 for light locations. 3.0 Safety Measures As an added safety measure (2) two -foot high guardrails were installed at the rear parking area. One along the back (east) parking edge and one at the northern, rear access. 4.0 Drainage A roof drain and four inch drainpipe was installed to collect roof runoff from the pool location to the storm water detention basin. SITE PLANNING • DESIGN • RECLAMATION • A drywell was installed at the northern end of the building to ensure proper parking lot drainage. 5.0 Planting & Vegetation • Three existing evergreens along Route 9 that were intended to remain undisturbed, needed to be removed due to the extent of grading.
