The percolation tests were conducted in the center of the fill for each system. This fill had been mechanically consolidated with track equipment. The percolation test on lot #1 was performed on December 11, 2001 and the percolation rate was 6 minutes and 15 seconds. The percolation test on lot #2 was performed on October 8, 2001 and the percolation rate was 10 minutes and 25 seconds. The total length and spacing of the absorption system laterals was adjusted to comply with the actual percolation rate and the design drawings.
