WHEREAS, a School Traffic Officer (Crossing Guard) position exists within the Town of
Queensbury and the Town Board wishes to make an appointment to such position,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby appoints Dennis Pedone as a School
Traffic Officer(Crossing Guard) on an "on-call" basis only, effective on or about August 21St, 2012 at
the current rate of pay for the position, subject to the Town successfully completing a background
check as reasonably necessary to judge fitness for the duties for which hired and/or drug and/or
alcohol screening, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor and/or
Town Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any actions necessary to effectuate the terms of
this Resolution.
