WHEREAS, Full Foundation Pentecostal Church in Glens Falls has requested permission to
conduct a 5k Walk/Run to help raise awareness of health/mental health as follows:
SPONSOR: Full Foundation Pentecostal Church
EVENT: 5k Walk/Run
DATE: Saturday, September 15th, 2012
TIME: Approximately 10:30 a.m.
PLACE: Beginning at Civic Center in Glens Falls and ending at
Hovey Pond in Queensbury
(Letter and Map regarding location of walk attached);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby acknowledges receipt of proof of
insurance from the Full Foundation Pentecostal Church to conduct a 5k Walk/Run partially within the
Town of Queensbury, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board approves this event subject to approval by the Town
Highway Superintendent which approval may be revoked due to concern for road conditions at any
time up to the date and time of the event, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that this event shall also be subject to the approval of the Warren County
Superintendent of Public Works.
