WHEREAS, Caroline H. Barber, RMC, the Town of Queensbury's Town Clerk and Receiver
of Taxes and Assessments, has requested Town Board authorization to hire Kim Smith, the Town's
former V Deputy Receiver of Taxes and Assessments, as a part-time Clerk in the Office of Receiver of
Taxes and Assessments, and
WHEREAS,the Town Board wishes to authorize this request,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the hiring of
Kim Smith as a part-time Clerk in the Office of Receiver of Taxes and Assessments at the pay rate of
$30 per hour and not exceeding 20 hours per week, effective on or about September 13, 2022, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Clerk and
Receiver of Taxes and Assessments, Town Supervisor and/or Town Budget Officer to complete any
documentation and take such other and further action necessary to effectuate the terms of this
Resolution.
