394.2022 Approving Annual 2023 Budget RESOLUTION ADOPTING ANNUAL TOWN BUDGET FOR 2023

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board duly conducted a public hearing on Monday,
November 7th, 2022 concerning the proposed 2023 Preliminary Budget and heard all interested
persons, and
WHEREAS, the proposed 2023 Preliminary Budget sets forth the proposed 2023 salaries
of the Town's Elected Officials as required by New York State Town Law §27,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs that the
2023 salaries for the Town of Queensbury Elected Officials shall be as follows:
TOWN SUPERVISOR 67,276.
TOWN COUNCIL,PERSON(4) 18,000.
TOWN CLERK 86,000.
TOWN HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT 86,000.
TOWN JUSTICES (2) 58,588
and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby adopts the 2023 Preliminary Budget presented
at this meeting as the Town of Queensbury Annual Budget for 2023, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to enter
the Adopted Annual Budget in the minutes of the Town Board proceedings, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that a copy of the adopted Annual Budget for 2023, including a copy of the
S495 Exemption Impact Report, is attached and made part of this Resolution, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to
prepare and certify duplicate copies of the Adopted Annual Budget and deliver two (2) copies to
the Town Supervisor so that he may present them to the Warren County Board of Supervisors,
and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Town Clerk and/or Town Budget Officer to take all actions necessary to effect this Resolution.
