WHEREAS, in accordance with New York State Town Law §64, the Queensbury Town
Board may authorize the sale of items which are no longer needed by the Town or obsolete, and
WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent previously advised the Town Board that a
Rawson Screening Plant and Sand Stacker (Asset 4's: 3362, 3560, 3957, 3958) are no longer needed,
obsolete and have been replaced, and
WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has therefore requested Town Board
authorization to sell such obsolete equipment to the Town of Hadley for $10,000, in"as is—where is"
condition,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the Town's sale of a
Rawson Screening Plant and Sand Stacker (Asset 4's: 3362, 3560, 3957, 3958) which are no longer
needed by the Town, obsolete and of no material value, to the Town of Hadley for $10,000 in"as is—
where is"condition, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Town
Clerk and/or Town Budget Officer to take all actions needed to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
