Testing Methodology Apartment Air Leakage Testing: R402.4.1.3: • Testing has been conducted in accordance with Section R402.4.1.3 of the 2020 New York Energy Code. The testing target is 0.3 CFM50/sf of enclosure surface area. The calculations of the enclosure area follow the definitions in the code which include the sum of all of the exterior wall area, interior wall area, ceiling area, and floor area of each apartment unit. Testing Results: Apartment Air Leakage • Testing was conducted in accordance with ASTM E779 at 50 Pascals which resulted in a final CFM50 for each apartment. The CFM50 is then converted into CFM50/sf of enclosure area to demonstrate each unit falls below the 0.3 CFM50/sf target. Table 1 shows all the individual unit testing results with official reports below.
