These tests were performed in the approximate location of the proposed septic systems, at a depth of 24 to 30" below existing grade. The soils in the location of the septic system are fine to medium sand with cobbles and a trace of silt on Iot #81 . On lot 480 the soils are medium to coarse, relatively compact sand with a trace of silt. The stabilized percolation rates (after adequate presoaking) were one minute and five seconds on lot #81 and one minute on lot #80. 1 will perform the percolation test on lot 479 after the area in the vicinity of the leach field has been brought up to finish grade. Since the fill being used here is relatively loamy, please be sure that the contractor does not compact the material with a rubber tire vehicle.
