462.2022 Authorizing Additional Expenses Related to Construction of Storage Building at Pine View Cemetery RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL EXPENSES RELATED TO CONSTRUCTION OF STORAGE BUILDING AT PINE VIEW CEMETERY RESOLUTION NO.: 462,2022 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Harrison Freer WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. George Ferone WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 417, 2020, the Queensbury Town Board authorized establishment of Cemetery Storage Building Capital Project No. 236 to establish funding for expenses related to the Cemetery Storage Building Capital Project(Project), and WHEREAS, the Town Cemetery Superintendent has advised that additional necessary Project expenses have been or will need to be incurred including costs related to reimbursement to the Highway Department for paving costs and installation of cameras and phones by Stored Technology Solutions, Inc., totaling $19,194, plus additional future expenses toward certain items including shelving, landscaping and an awning,totaling an estimated$18,000, and WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize such additional expenses and increased costs, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves and authorizes of the additional expenses and increased costs related to the Cemetery Storage Building Capital Project as specifically set forth in the preambles of this Resolution totaling approximately$38,000, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Budget Officer to amend the Town Budget and any actions necessary to increase appropriations and estimated revenues as follows: • 001-9950-9030-0064 Transfer to Capital Project- $38,000 • 236-0000-55031 Interfund Revenues - $38,000 • 236-8810-2899 Capital Construction - $38,000 and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Cemetery Superintendent, Town Budget Officer and/or Purchasing Agent to take any and all actions necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that this Resolution is subject to a permissive referendum in accordance with the provisions of Town Law Article 7 and the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to publish and post such notices and take such other actions as may be required by law.
