As you know, the 1992 edition of NFPA 211 does not allow the use of a solid fuel burning appliances in a residential garage_ Could you please tell me how the State defines a residential garage? Is a detached garage still a residential garage? Is a garage technically used for passenger vehicles only? If an applicant stores lawn mowers, motor cycles, snow mobiles, motor boats, or any other motor vehicle, in a space, is that space considered a garage?
