Dear Mr, Hermance:
This letter will serve to notify you that the construction of the above-referenced
addition requires both an Area Variance and Building Permit,
On September 2, 1998 a building permit application was filed with the Town of
Queensbury. This building permit cannot be reviewed and approved until an area variance
has been applied and approved. To date, no area variance application has been filed for
this project. The necessity of an area variance was discussed during a conversation,
between you, Joel CIugstone, Code Enforcement Officer, and me. I believe the
conversation was on the same date the building permit application was submitted.
Enclosed please find an Area Variance application, fee schedule and a schedule
outlining submission deadlines. It is my expectation that this matter will be addressed as
soon as possible in order to avoid further enforcement actions. Should you have any
questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact this office.
