This building permit cannot be reviewed and approved until an area variance has been applied and approved. To date, no area variance application has been filed for this project. The necessity of an area variance was discussed during a conversation, between you, Joel CIugstone, Code Enforcement Officer, and me. I believe the conversation was on the same date the building permit application was submitted. Enclosed please find an Area Variance application, fee schedule and a schedule outlining submission deadlines.
