WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury's Animal Control Officer (ACO) has requested Town
Board approval to purchase a 2013 Ford F350 Cargo Van to replace the current ACO vehicle, and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the Town 2012 Budget for such proposed purchase,
and
WHEREAS,New York State Bidding is not required as the purchase is under New York State
Contract No.: 22539/PC65855,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves of the Town Animal Control
Officer's purchase of a 2013 Ford F350 Van in the amount of$25,226.17 from Van Bortel Ford, Inc.,
in accordance with New York State Contract # 22539/PC65855, to be funded from
Equipment/Vehicle Replacement Capital Project Fund 4195, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Animal Control Officer and/or Budget Officer to take such other and further action as may be
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
