In the preparing 6fe-the Zoning Ordinance and`the Sanitary Ordinance, we had a great deal of activity from our BuiZdi5;g and Zoning Inspector and Assistant Inspector and also the committee with members of the Planning Board and other representatives from other Boards in the Toumy have been meeting twice a week for the past month and a haZfi two months, in obder to make the changes that were I recommended from the first public hearing and also those meetings that they held. The have entertained representatives from various associations in the Town, they have had consulting advice from the Warren County Bar Association, there has been a great deal of input from various segments of the community. These representatives have put together a document which does reflect some changes from the original and the comments that people made at the first public hearing did not fall on deaf dars and have been examined and put together into an ordinance which I think will be beneficial to the residents of the Town of Queensbury. These people have worked long and hard on trying to put together the ordinances that will be beneficial to the Taman. Councilman Monahan- I think that the office staff desOrves a pat on the back for all the extra work that they have been doing. . . The problem is caused by vehicles being parked on the County right- of-way on Bay Road in close proximety to these exists.' At Thursddy 's faculty meeting, the concern for injury which nearly occurred on several occasions was expressed. The problem has been a continuing one which I think can be Lessened by posting no parking signs 400 feet each side of both exits. It, of course, will require the ;considered judgment of your Bott:,�'d in modifying the town ordinance to include this much needed restriction. I, very much, appreciate any assistance that can be given;. and because of the potential for serious injury, I would be equally grateful for whatever can be done to expedite a solution.
