Gentlemen :
Pursuant to your letter dated 3- 15-89 , be assured that the inspections
were carried out entirely as instructed .
When the footings and foundation wall ( prior to backf ill ) inspections
were complete , it was indicated by the building department the next inspection
required for my addition was the electrical . This was done prior to installing
the dry wall and a final electrical inspection completed and approved . We
assumed that a Certificate of Occupancy/compliance would be issued at any time .
We received your notice last week and were quite surprised to learn that
additional inspections are required . The form that is enclosed is quite weathered
and faded as it has been posted outside for almost ,2 years, The ink has faded
but an attempt has been made to fill in what was written at that time .
Of course we would welcome a representative of your office to visit the
premises at any time and inspect the completed addition. Since both my wife and
I work full time we would prefer that you contact us at your earliest convenience
to make arrangements for your visit . Evenings between 4 and 6 pm are best .
