WHEREAS, SUNY Adirondack has requested authorization from the Queensbury Town
Board to conduct a 5k Race in support of the SUNY Adirondack CARES Fund as follows:

EVENT 5k Race
DATE Saturday,April 20th 2013
TIME 8:30 a.m. (to be completed in approximately one hour)
PLACE Beginning and ending at SUNY Adirondack
(Letter and map depicting course attached);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby acknowledges receipt of proof of
insurance from SUNY Adirondack and therefore authorizes SUNY Adirondack to conduct its 5k Race
within the Town of Queensbury as delineated in this Resolution, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves this event subject to approval by the
Town Highway Superintendent, which may be revoked due to concern for road conditions at any time
up to the date and time of the event.
