AS TEMPORARY, SEASONAL LABORER IN HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has requested Town Board authorization to
hire a temporary, seasonal Laborer to work for the Town's Highway Department,
WHEREAS, funds for such position have been budgeted for in the Town Budget, and
WHEREAS, the Highway Superintendent has advised the Town Board that such temporary,
seasonal Laborer is Orbin Harrington,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the hiring of
Orbin Harrington to work as a temporary, seasonal Laborer for the Town Highway Department
commencing on or about May 6d', 2013 and concluding on or about November 22nd, 2013, subject to
the Town successfully completing a pre-employment physical and background check as
reasonably necessary to judge fitness for the duties for which hired, and drug and/or alcohol
screenings, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that such temporary, seasonal Laborer shall be paid $10.00 per hour as set forth
in Town Board Resolution No.: 53,2013 to be paid from the appropriate payroll account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Highway Superintendent,
Deputy Highway Superintendent, Town Budget Officer and/or Town Supervisor to complete any
forms and take any action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
