WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, in accordance with Resolution No.: 482,2000, the Queensbury Town Board
established the Exit 18 Corridor Realignment Project Capital Project Fund 4126 which
established funding for expenses associated with the Exit 18 Corridor realignment project (Project),
and
WHEREAS, the Project is complete and therefore, Capital Project Fund #126 can be
closed, and
WHEREAS, the Town's accounting records show that there is approximately $69,935.32
remaining in Capital Project Fund#126, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to close such Capital Project Fund and transfer its
remaining fund balance to the Water Fund #40 as the Accountant advised that when all final
costs came back related to the Project, the Water Department had overpaid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town
Budget Officer to close the Exit 18 Corridor Realignment Project Capital Project Fund 9126 and
transfer its remaining balance to the Water Fund 440, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Water Superintendent, Town Budget Officer and/or Accountant to take such other and further
action as may be necessary to effectuate all terms of this Resolution.
