AS TEMPORARY, SEASONAL LABORER IN HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has requested Town Board authorization to
hire a temporary, seasonal Laborer to work for the Town's Highway Department,
WHEREAS, funds for such position have been budgeted for in the Town Budget, and
WHEREAS, the Highway Superintendent has advised the Town Board that such temporary,
seasonal Laborer is Kolbi Seeley,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the hiring of
Kolbi Seeley to work as a temporary, seasonal Laborer for the Town Highway Department
commencing on or about August 26d`, 2013 and concluding on or about November 22nd, 2013, subject
to the Town successfully completing a pre-employment physical and background check as
reasonably necessary to judge fitness for the duties for which hired, and drug and/or alcohol
screenings, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that such temporary, seasonal Laborer shall be paid $10.00 per hour as set forth
in Town Board Resolution No.: 53,2013 to be paid from the appropriate payroll account, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Highway Superintendent,
Deputy Highway Superintendent, Town Budget Officer and/or Town Supervisor to complete any
forms and take any action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
