MEADOWBROOK SEWER PUMP STATION

WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 222,2013, the Queensbury Town Board authorized
engagement of Delaware Engineering, P.C., for the provision of professional engineering services
regarding the design and construction supervision of improvements to the Queensbury Consolidated
Sanitary Sewer District to address potential sewer force main breaks between the Meadowbrook
Sewer Pump Station and the connection point with the City of Glens Falls, herein referred to as the
Sewer District Improvement/Force Main Bypass Project (Project), and
WHEREAS, Delaware Engineering, P.C., has prepared bid documents and specifications to
advertise for bids for the Project, and
WHEREAS, General Municipal Law §103 requires that the Town advertise for bids and award
the bid to the lowest responsible bidder meeting New York State statutory requirements and the
requirements set forth in the Town's bid documents and specifications,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town's
Purchasing Agent to post and publish an advertisement for bids to be prepared by Delaware
Engineering, P.C., for the Sewer District Improvement/Force Main Bypass Project (Project) referred
to in this Resolution and receive all bids, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town's Purchasing
Agent to open all received bids, read them aloud and record the bids as is customarily done and present
the bids to the next regular or special meeting of the Town Board.
