SECURELY IN THE GROUND.
E) THE SEDIMENT BASIN, IF PRESENT, WILL BE INSPECTED FOR DEPTH OF SEDIMENT, AND BUILT UP
SEDIMENT WILL BE REMOVED WHEN IT REACHES 50 PERCENT OF THE DESIGN CAPACITY.

THE SITE STORMWATER WAS DESIGNED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 147 OF THE QUEENSBURY TOWN CODE.
A STORMWATER CONTROL REPORT HAS BEEN PORVIDED UNDER A SEPERATE COVER. THE FOLLOWING IS A
SUMMARY OF THE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT DESIGN.
THE PROPOSED STORMWATER MANAGEMENT SHALL CONSIST OF SHALLOW GRASSED RETENTION AREAS LOCATED
THROUGHOUT THE SITE. THE GRASSED RETENTION AREAS WILL COLLECT THE STORMWATER RUNOFF FROM THE
PROPOSED DRIVEWAY AND GARAGE AND ALLOW RUNOFF TO INFILTRATE INTO THE GROUND. THE THREE
GRASSED RETENTION AREAS (SMA #1, SMA #2 AND SMA #3) HAVE BEEN SIZED ACCORDINGLY, SEE SHEET S -1
FOR STORAGE VOLUME, TO ALLOW FOR THE COMPLETE ATTENUATION AND INFILTRATION OF THE CONTRIBUTING
STORMWATER RUNOFF FOR STORMS UP TO AND INCLUDING THE 25 YEAR STORM EVENT. THE GRASSED
RETENTION AREAS HAVE BEEN MODELED USING THE CONSERVATIVE INFILTRATION RATE OF 8 INCHES PER
HOUR.
STONE FILLED EAVE TRENCHES SHALL ALSO BE PROPOSED ALONG THE PROPOSED HOUSE AND GARAGE IN
ORDER TO ALLOW FOR THE ATTENUATION AND INFILTRATION OF THE STORMWATER RUNOFF FROM THE
PROPOSED ROOD AREAS. THE EAVE TRENCHES WILL BE 3 FEET WIDE BY 2 FEET DEEP STONE FILLED
TRENCHED WHICH HAVE BEEN SIZED ACCORDINGLY, SEE SHEET S -1 FOR LENGTH AND STORAGE VOLUME, TO
ALLOW FOR THE COMPLETE ATTENUATION AND INFILTRATION OF THE CONTRIBUTING STORMWATER RUNOFF FOR
