WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury's Water Superintendent has recommended that the
Town Board authorize a change to the Town's "bulk" water rate for commercial/ industrial users
from $1.15/1000 gallons, in excess of 4,000,000 gallons per quarter, to $0.92/1000 gallons in
excess of 4,000,000 gallons per quarter, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has duly considered such proposed rate change and concurs
with the Water Superintendent's recommendation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Queensbury Town Code §173-27, the Town Board hereby
authorizes a change to the Town's "bulk" water rate for commercial/ industrial users from
$1.15/1000 gallons, in excess of 4,000,000 gallons per quarter, to $0.92/1000 gallons in excess of
4,000,000 gallons per quarter, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Town
Water Superintendent, Town Budget Officer and/or Town Clerk to take any actions as may be
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution, including updating the Fee Schedule to reflect
these changes.
