PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Renovations to plaza to improve the aesthetics of the facility—façade and elevator are included. PARCEL HISTORY: SP 30-89: 3-27-90 MATERIAL REVIEW: Cover Letter Application 11 x 17 L G Plaza Enhancement Package dated 10-4-13 Map SP-1 Landscape& Site Lighting Plan dated 11-15-13 STAFF COMMENTS: The applicant proposes to redo all of the façade work on the Lake George Northway Plaza and to install an elevator for access from the rear parking area. The applicant has indicated the tenants spaces will not be change it is the façade only that will be new. The new façade is to be consistent with the project for the new outlets across the street. The site landscaping will be improved with pedestrian amenities with benches. New signage is proposed on the façade and a new wall sign showing the list of tenant in the outlet. The new elevator will be 39 ft. in height and will replace the existing rear stairwell where the stairwell near the Nautica tenant will remain in place. Site improvements will also include new light fixtures, resurfacing the parking area, renovating restrooms, and painting along the trim and columns. The submission included a color rendition of the existing and proposed look of the new façade and improvements to the site along with a landscaping and lighting plan. The applicant has requested waivers from the topographic survey, stormwater, erosion and sediment control, grading and drainage,floor plans,traffic and soil logs. SUMMARY The applicant has completed a site plan application for the remodeling and site improvements to the Lake George Northway Plaza including façade changes and installation of an elevator. The board may consider the waiver requests for topographic survey, stormwater, erosion and sediment control, grading and drainage, floor plans,traffic and soil logs.
